Ibanez BTB1206e for sale in excellent plus condition. Price is $999.00 including original BTB hard shell case.

    - Flame maple top, mahogany body
    - Maple neck with walnut stringers, rosewood fingerboard
    - Bartolini pickups (USA Barts..not MK1's) and Bart 3-band pre
    - 35"-scale neck-through-body construction
    - Gotoh tuners

The bass is in unplayed condition (I originally purchased it with the intention of having it defretted) but does have two very superficial marks on the top, which I tried to photograph (see below). The bass has remained in its hard case for it's entire life...and has never been gigged.

    Here's a review I found online:

    http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=1978&type=bass

Selling for $999.00 plus shipping, including the hard case (which is worth another $190). Sorry, no international shipping.

  4. Nostalgia! That pic in the case reminds me of when I got mine. This is really a steal people, and here's a second opinion on how great this bass is!

    Replied -- thanks!

edit: I should add that the only trade I can consider would be a fretless of some sort with the following attributes:

    - 35" scale
    - no fret lines
    - passive (or easily converted to passive without a lot of holes in the bass...)

Sorry, I'm all tapped out as far as fretteds, amps and speaker cabs unfortunately.

    Bump -- still available.

Only trades or partial trades considered are for a fretless but it must have:

    - 35"-scale
    - unlined board
    - passive electronics (or at least not too many holes so I can rip the preamp out ;) )
    - no more than 6 strings (but 4's and 5's okay as long as they have the above attributes)

Sorry for the double bump today, but I should also mention that I would accept a trade or partial-trade for a hollowbody or semi-hollow guitar (not bass though). Gretsch, Gibson, Epiphone, Ibanez, etc -- let me know if you've got one. Bigsby (or similar) tremolo a plus.

hi - i have a four year old artstar 80 i would trade. nice guitar, same as as120, similar to the john scofield model( http://www.ibanez.com/artists/interview.asp?artist=Scofield ). a few dents and scratches, nothing too bad - one dent on the lower horn and a light scratch on the back of the headstock. it has grover tuners and a hardshell case. started playing with heavier strings (13s) and got a jetking, which although cheaper suits my bass -lovin style better. just don't need that many guitars and the artstar is just too good a guitar to be sitting around. patrick.

    here's a pic of a similar guitar:

Hey Patrick -- thanks for the offer, but for now if it's a guitar I'm pretty set on it being a single cutaway.

    Thanks again though.

What's the string spacing on this at the bridge?

    Andy,

I'm sorry, I didn't see your post until just now! I believe it's 18mm at the bridge (if not it's just shy of 18...I'll have to measure it).

    Take care,
    Aram
