    Purchased this bass a few months ago to test the waters of the shorter scale and narrower string spacing. I've come to the conclusion that while I love the sound of this bass and the playability of the shorter scale, the narrower string spacing isn't right for me.

    $775 shipped to the lower 48 states. Also open to trade offers, particularly an MTD Grendel 5 or Kingston Saratoga Deluxe 5 (maple fingerboard preferred).

    For those who aren't familiar with this bass, it's a 33" scale, neck-through 5-string constructed of Mahogany body wings with an Ash top, 5-piece Maple/Bubinga neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a matching Ash headstock veneer. It has Bartonlini soapbar pickups are coupled with a 3-band onboard preamp featuring a 3-way mid selector switch (250Hz, 450Hz, 700Hz). This bass also features an adjustable rosewood finger ramp and black hardware, along with a Hipshot Xtender key (original tuner included). It's designed to be string E-C, but can be strung B-G as well.
