Ibanez EDB600 - dead pre - what to do?

    THe pre-amp has died on my Ibanez Ergodyne EDB 600. Anyone got any ideas for a replacement or fix?

    Thanks for the link. I think at $95.00, it is over the top for what it is

    Anyone got anything cheap and cheerful that might act as a replacement? Thanks

    wire that baby passive.. Thats what I did when my SR406 pre went bad..

    And it sounded 100x better.. Man I miss that bass.

    Good idea but in this case it is set up passive at present but the sound really sucks! The P/U's on this one really need the pre's help!

    I just thought there might be a cheap fix out there-Mister Economy rides again!
