Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

I am purchasing an Ibanez bass and want to replace the electronis in it. Unfortunately, I cannot order directly through Ibanez, and the closest store to order through here said it takes several months (as many as 6-12 months) for the parts to come in.
I am currently in a working band and want to be able to use this bass as soon as possible. Do you have any ideas of how you order these parts and receive them in a quicker manner?

    Thanks for your help!

    i dont understand your problem

6-12months for the bass or parts to arrive?
why do you want parts from ibanez directly?

Preamps and pickups are sold in shops. if you are looking for something a bit special, buy them online from people on here (dealers for Bartolini, EMG and Nordstrand etc). they will arrive in a week's time if they are in stock
