does anyone else think this bass would be awesome except for the fact that it is associated with one of the worst famous "bassists" ever?

maybe i could find one with a big chip in the fingerboard, rip it off and put a lined ebony fretless board on it, and paint over the signature on the headstock.

The K-5 would be a sweet bass, except the the inlay.
They used to make the same bass, I think is was called the 5005.

i recently saw a brand new prestige 3005 in a music store in grand rapids. im not sure if theyre still being made, or if no one ever bought it. i think the price tag was about 1800. it had what looked like a solid mahogony body, and a 5 piece neck, dark wood, and then a couple of yellow stringers through it. either way it was a high end soundgear, helluva bass IMO.
