    Hi just joined.
    Looking at a Ibanez roadstar series ii 850.
    Getting back into playing after a long time. What are these like? What should I be looking out for on a 85’ vintage guitar?
    Or should I go something new in the same price bracket?

    Check the action, turn the truss rod nut to make sure it isn’t seized.

    Full sweeps on the pots. I think it should have boomerang strap buttons.

    It was a nice bass when it was built, hopefully it’s a survivor.

    Do you access truss rod from plate behind neck?
    What sort of money should I be looking at? The body looks to have a bit of wear for sure
