Ibanez SR 1206 TT 1995/96

Hi all,

Need a bit of help as I'm no bass expert.

I've got a 1995/96 Translucent Turquoise six string bass which was made in Korea. I'm looking to sell it but have no idea about the worth of the instrument.

I've heard that the Korean made bass is superior to the Indonesian made one but that's about it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

That was a top of the line Ibanez at the time, as for value, you need to be a supporting member to ask that question.

That's a pretty bass.

I think the rules for discussing prices is something that you have to be a paid supporting member to do.

However, you could go onto Reverb and Ebay and check past sales of similar basses to get a ballpark estimate.

Look it up on reverb. You'll notice that the sale prices seem about right... BUT if you were to buy it, the cost of "your collection" would rank it and it would be substantially lower.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've now listed it on ebay with a more realistic price!

I think the fact I scored it so cheaply effected my appraisal lol.

I used to have the 4 and 5 string version. It was top of the line back in the 90’s.
