Ibanez SR 3000 opinions........

    Hello guys, I am considering purchasing an Ibanez 4 string from a good guy in the general area. Just seeking any info or opinions on this model of Ibanez. It is described as a Prestige SR 3000 ESOL. Also has HSR 3000 E- 01 on it and the # 5876 on the abolone headstock plate. Again, just looking for information and your opinions on this model if you have had or played one. Money is tight, but I think this might be a bass I would enjoy........Thanks guys, Bud

    I have one, an sr3000e, fantastic bass, love the neck, the barts are extremly versitile, crisp highs, good ol thumpin, and great mids, unfortunally the one drawback that I personally have found is if you're looking for vintage sound, you just won't find it. When I do covers or play along, its got too much of a hifi sound
