Ibanez SR Prestige (SR1000EWN) or Peavey Cirrus

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by sk8terguy316, Apr 4, 2005.

  1. Exactly WHat the title says and why: hows the feel, electronics, neck, tone, etc etc. Also will i notice much of a big diference in a 34" AND A 35" scale thanks. (should I get a 5'er because it has an extended scale and will be more firm)

The Ibanez is a good bass for the price. But it is not in the same league as the Cirrus.

The Cirrus has better electronics, and IME better fit & finish.

The difference between 34" and 35" is noticeable, but shouldn't be a deal breaker. The only thing I don't like about a 35" scale is that a lot of the ones I have played have a thinner sounding G string.
