Hey guys, I just purchased the Ibanez SR1006EFM from www.instrumentpro.com for what I think is a good price. it cost me 1177 for the bass and the form fitted case, good deal for this bass? From what I've read about it it should be worth it.

    Bass Specs:

    5 piece NT Maple/bubinga
Maple body with flamed maple top
    rosewood fingerboard
    Bart Custom pups (probablly soapbars)
bridge w/ individual saddles (monorail IV)
    and a vari-mid hifi 3 band

sounds good doesn't it? I hope it plays good, and it should for the money.

    Thanks,
    Greg

I'll be sure to review it after I get it, since there isn't a review here yet

I'll also post some pics of it because Ibanez doesn't have very many...

I got an SR905 4 weeks ago. It plays very well and has a great sounding 5th string.

I really like the shape of the back.

the think that the SR905 has a thinner neck though (I've heard complaints about it being too thin and twisting) I just hope the neck is fast and feels good, and if it doesn't, I have 30 days to return it ^^
