Ibanez SR990? Anyone heard of this bass before?

    I searched google and the forums and I found minimal information.

    Anyone know anything about this bass and how much it might be worth?

    Depends on the condition, it is a harder to find SDGR as it was scrapped at the last minute and not included in the 1999 seasons lineup.

    From memory the SR800A was similar in build...Contoured Ash body, Rosewood board, IBZ AFR P/J pickups and a AccuCast B IV bridge.

    It will most likely be a Korean build too, in which case it could be valued at <$500 or so.

    Thanks for the info Swin. The one that I looked at was Made in Japan.

    It had an exotic top (I believe Africa Sapelle; Mahogany body) and a 5 piece Wenge/Bubbinga neck.

    Great weight and balance and had the AFR P/J pickups.
