Too many basses, not enough space (or money)!! :(

Selling an Ibanez SRA305 in good condition. The electronics have been modded, they now contain two EMG 40DCX pickups and an EMG BQC preamp. Everything works and sounds great, the neck is just not good for my small hands. It has a few dings here and there, but on a black bass it's awful hard to see them. Has very fresh strings (DRs) and has spent time in the case when not in play. Better pics are coming soon!!

I am doing $325 shipped OBO. Keep in mind, these aren't stock pickups, they are full-on active EMGs.

I have the sra300, I've been looking in upgrading the hz's as well. Did you did?

I'm guessing you're asking if I upgraded them?

Yes, I went from the HZs to putting in full-on EMG 40DCX pickups. It's also paired with the EMG BQC preamp, which is 3-band EQ with sweepable mid frequency. It's a great bass, I'm just trying to cover the cost of a 50's P that I purchased.

Is there any sound samples of this Bass?! I've heard the stock samples but since you modified the PUPS I want to hear the difference between the original and the EMG DCX

To me it feels about the same as an SR 5'er neck. Pretty flat with a decently close string spacing. It's a 34" scale though, I'm positive of that.

  10. Thx. GLWTS

I'm very sorry, I yanked out the pickups and sold those separately. I forgot to close this thread, my apologies for leaving it up :(
