Ibanez TMB35 or miKro GSRM25?

    I'm looking for a budget short scale 5 string but do not have the opportunity to try any in my area. I've narrowed it down to these two and have some questions. The main thing I wonder is which would be the easiest to upgrade. Specifically, some day I would like to upgrade pickups and electronics. Which one has the better options for replacement pickups. Also, are the necks the same? I really like the neck on my SR1400 and am hoping they are close.

    The TMB neck widens and gets chunkier past the 12th fret.

    Scale :812mm/32"

    Thickness: 19.5mm at 1F

    Don't know these axes well enough to recommend this or that one, but I would definitely recommend NO shorter than 30" scale for this reason: Once you walk away from the standard 34" scale, your string choices narrow. Short scale is heating up now (I can easily remember when there were no 5-string sets in 30"), and I'd avoid anything less as you may have only one choice.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like it is the TMB35. Just have to wait for Sweetwater to get the mint green back in stock.
