Just wanted to share what I have done to my Ibanez TRB200 (I think that is the model). So far I have done the following:

    1. Replaced the output jack - the new Switchcraft stereo barrel jack had a flimsy nut and no gasket so I just re-used the old stuff
    2. Replaced the Jazz pickup - found an active MEC pickup (60201-S) on eBay for a decent price
    3. Added a 9v battery holder - double-sided foam tape from 3M works wonders!

I want to replace the P pickups with an active set. I have been looking for MEC pickups, but have not found any P bass ones. If anyone is looking to part with theirs, please let me know :)

I kept the Bridge Ground wire installed. I have read various threads about why there should and should not be one. This bass is not used much outside of my house, so I am not concerned with faulty building wiring. If I am able to get another active pickup to replace the P, then I will revisit the Bridge Ground wire.

Here are some pictures of the process - I am not the best at soldering, so be kind :)
