  1. I have 2 basses in question, First I'll pot the information. Both are Ibanez BTB406QM

    Bass 1
    Stock Bartolini MK-1 Passive Pup's
    Audere Classic 4-band pre-amp
    Copper shielded

    Bass 2
Emg active pups in both postions
    Audere Classic 4-band pre-amp
    Copper shielded

Now for some reason the active EMG's are a hell of allot quieter then the passive Bart's. I'm using all of the stock pots that came with the Audere. How can I Bring the volume up on the EMG's?

According to the website they are 100K pots which they said can be used with actives as long as you use the Capacitors that are given the wire between the leads and the Pre-amp.

Also having the issue where the blend is louder when I'm using just one pick-up and is quiet when using both. hopefully I gave all the information needed. any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you wired the pickups out of phase, though I don't see how you could do that with EMG's.

  3. ok, the pick-ups are not out of phase. so i'm lost on this one.

are there trim pots? seems like the solution is to turn the louder ones down to match the quieter ones. if needed you could install a pot between the output and the jack to match it. johnny a
