Identify this bass....*Please*

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by KuMBye YamALaWd, Nov 17, 2004.

  1. A friend sent me these pics as a joke, suggesting I replace my well-worn Steinberger with a more "modern" bass. Haha.

He says he was given the pics in Germany recently.

Does anyone here know what type of bass that is in this pic? (I've also included the guitar pic that I was sent, obviously made by the same....errr.......guitar & bass maker):
  2. Good Lord.

I mean, that bass is sharp (no not in an attractive sorta way, just pointy)

I mean, really. that is crazy looking. Not a clue on the maker, but he wasn't thinking lap play, that's for sure....

Were they made or Orgy? :smug:

Until you look at both pictues and read what he wrote, when its quite clearly a bass AND a guitar.

One's a bass, the other a guitar, as the poster said originally. And even if it was only a guitar, I'd lilke looking at it, and seeing who made it. Though I wouldn't want to play or get attacked by someone with it...

I don't know who made it, but I've got to say that I like it. If it is from Germany, it probably costs around $5000.

I think everything in Germany costs $5000. Even bubble gum.

There's the exchange rate, you know. I sort of figured the penny would get in there somehow.

I think this is where we all apoligize for derailing the thread. About that bass...I have no clue but I kinda like it. Kinda its a bit strange, but it works nicely. Sorry to say that I don't know who makes it. Ask your friend it he has any more pics.
