    I was watching a television show called Flight of the Conchords last night and one of the two musicians is holding a bass...can you Identify it?

    Looks like a Westone body with a Peavey neck and home-made pickguard & pups.

    Two guys from New Zealand...not sure it has anything to do with Borat.

    New Zealand! those Kiwis are righteous cobblers That bass could've been a table top and a crystal radio the day before, all bets are off on what it might have been!

    I'm guessing it might be a 1970's "Kavkaz" bass, made in the USSR.

    Right on!!! someone watches the show...another episode about them in a bar and they get ripped off by a Womans Water Polo team he is holding what looks like another bass that also looks very cool...its all green...

    Thanks CDEF for your sleuthing :) This might piss of the NZ guys but one of my favorite bands is called BLUEJUICE from Australia...

    That looks like one i owned in the late 60's made by Fenton Weil [or Wiel ] cant remember which .
