It's pretty decent looking, whatever it is. No warranty.

YOu have to wonder why they havent disclosed what made it a "factory second". It could be that the truss rod is gone or something else fatal to the basses playability.

I've always wanted a Not Ibenez bass. They have a lot more tone than the Not Fenders.....

I have a few basses that are awesome and they don't look a thing like that.

I tend to go for the Not Gibsons myself. They're Not Neck-heavy, Not Muddy and Not Fragile ;).

(don't take this as an attack on gibson basses please :p)

  7. I was quite suprised when i saw that bass. It's quite nice.

If you swapped out the pickups and preamps, got a new nut, some ash cavity covers, some grippy knobs, new strings and a good setup. That would be one awesome high-end rip off! :bassist:

  8. Looks like quite a nice bass, but yes - you must wonder why it's a factory second.

Is it because the truss rod is broken, or something equally significant?

    NO WARRANTY

Yeah. Looks like something you'd want to gamble several hundred bucks on.
