    Something for wifey.
I’d love a new up to the minute amp rig but what i’ve got works fine so no need in spending for a new one.

A really nice Jazz Bass or Jazz clone. I'm simple that way. Maybe a Rick 4005.

A Fender Super Bassman with two 4x10 cabinets.

    Or a B15.

A fully loaded Carl Thompson with all the bells and whistles. Ideally an ebony top, walnut body, bloodwood finger board, 32" scale, with a big ole' scroll carved into the horn :)

    Ah... a guy can dream...

    I guess I'd go with a Mesa Subway WD800 and a 4 X 10 Mesa cab.

  11. Oh man, I don't even know if I can even start that thing up! Looks amazing, but I am a more small format kind of guy. I'd need to hire someone to run that thing for me!

Its not nearly the most expensive bass out there, but I'd settle for this:

  17. In the event the trip to the tax accountant is not more painful than usual, I may be able to satisfy my curiosity re: how much better will the new WD-800 sound through the Subway 215 compared to the GK Neo 410s it's driving?

I think I want the new soon to be released GK Legacy, even though I have not heard 1 note out of the amp. I have to have one.
