    Which would YOU choose? :ninja:

I'm talking about a "wish list" item... It doesn't have to be available, or affordable, or even real I guess. This could get interesting. :)

There was a thread about weird basses that reminded me of one of my favorites. These basses are very unique, very beatiful, but I don't think wierd is quite the right word.

I was hard to choose just one, but I think my favorite is #0332 from 2003. The grain is what sets it apart... that and the finish.

PS: IF you can post pics and/or links, it would help...

I've been looking for a better bass than an Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling since about 1994, and finally bought one for myself in 2002 because nothing came close. If/when I find something better, it will be mine. Oh yes! It will be mine.

  3. I want one that whenever I pull it out- no, wait; whenever it automatically floats across the room into my hands, my kids begin to behave. When i play, they fall asleep. 10 mile range.:D

My Roscoe LG3000. Sure, I love my other 4, 5, 6, and 8 strings, and have played a TON of fantastic basses, but they never feel quite as "home" as the Roscoe.

For my needs, tastes, and something I'd actually use, I'd say a Sadowsky 5.

A 7 string Worker Bee built from mostly Acrilized birdseye maple by Fred Bolton.

LOL!!! All I wanted was a bass with one knob (volume), and an amp with no knobs, that always sounds good... But now I like yours better.

    Got a link?

a thunderbird shaped bass(without neck dive),

When i play it, it reads my mind and gets the tone that i want instantly(with effects!), also it adjusts volume. It can also morph into a 5 and 6 string.

oh wait...it does my homework for me aswell

    :D

Wal Mach I.... although a Ritter Roya 5 in that finish with slightly different woods would probably do just as well... since I'll never have either anyway.

Interesting ... I own Ritter #0333 ... the one Jens made right after your choice, which is nearly like your choice (I must have a picture around here). 0333 has the black piano finish on the neck and back, and burl maple on the face.
