Wow that would be a split of either Geddy's Jazz (not a Rush fan, but respect their work) or Phil Lynott's P bass (Early Fender P)

Definately one of the sunburst Precisions (Jamerson’s Funk Machine, Adam Clayton’s Joshua Tree tour bass, Sting’s ’57, Duck Dunn’s ’59, Mike Watt’s T-bird pickup-modded one, Billy Sheehan’s The Wife etc.), I’m not that picky.

    Holy Grail.
Not really a Gibson fan but this particular one is my Holy Grail: the '64 Thunderbird Entwistle used to record Quadrophenia. It's the reason I took up bass as my first instrument. Had my picture taken next to it at the "Play It Loud: The Instruments of Rock & Roll" exhibit at the Met in NYC a few months back.

I did very nearly buy Neil Murray's OLP Musicman on eBay... But that was just his dressing room knockabout AFAIK.

In his Big Beautiful Bass book, Geddy mentioned "tiring" of his Steinberger pretty quickly. I read that and thought, "Hey Ged, if you're tired of it, I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands!" :woot:

Seriously, Ged, PM me. I promise to give it a good home.
