If it was humanely possible would you want to know the exact time , date ,place and manner of your death before it occurred? . I probably wouldent mind finding out , I think It would help keep things in perspective and keep me from any periodic procrastination.

I dunno, if I found out I was going to be hit by a train a week from Tuesday, I would just stay home on Tuesday. ;)

Yes. I'd like to say goodbye to everyone I love first (this is presuming that I can't change my fate). Accidents happen, and they're always unexpected :meh:

I dunno, I guess it could be useful if I knew I didn't need to wear my seatbelt, or I could go parachuting, or any number or things I could do before that day without getting killed.

I had an uncle that knew the exact date, time and place of his death...

    A judge told him. :smug:
  6. I wouldn't, it would weigh me down in my remaining time on earth.

Or you could join the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement and choose when it occurs.

If I knew it was soon I'd spend all my money and have as much fun as possible.

I'd rather not know what's coming, jus boom and it's done. Never knew what hit me, so to speak. That being said, there have been times in my life when I wished it would hurry up and happen.. Now is not one of them though. :)

I'd be afraid to ask. What if I could find out?

With my luck I'd be told that the time of my death was 8 years ago and I've been in Hell since then.

(who am I kidding? Hell has to be worst than Cincinnati)

Yeah, I could live my life like the dad in Big Fish.

It seemed to work out pretty well for him.

They're about non-reproduction, not suicide, as evidenced by their slogan, "May we live long and die out." Pretty classy, if you ask me.

I don't think so. As it is I already try to live every day to the fullest. I think knowing that my time is more limited than I think it is would stress me out (and I don't stress easilly)

I had a Dr. tell me once that I had cancer and if the treatment didn't work I could expect to live between x and x month's.

Believe me, you don't want to know. The amount of mental stress that puts on you is beyond words.

On the other hand..it was my excuse to buy the Sadowsky.

If it was soon, then heck NO. If it was say in 35 years, then maybe.
