When I think about classic bass tones, one that always sticks out for me is the Tony Sales' bass tone on Iggy Pop's 'Lust for Life'\

Does anyone know what kind of amp/ bass/ equipment he used on that album?

    Thanks all!

  2. in live footage from the 70's (doing Lust for life and the Passenger) he was using a BC Rich- IIRC a Mockingbird- a natural wood thru-neck.

(he also used a BC Rich in Tin Machine, before switching to Vigiers)

  3. Maybe check out the Jet website, since they wholesale ripped off the tune (Gonna Be My Girl)
