perhaps...and this might just be the freezing british weather freezing my brain...but maybe the chinese guy writing it meant 5.00 and not 500 as the one below it is 3.00...;)

anyways, aside from the downside of being a 5string, are they any good?

apparently new they cost $4050!!!! ?!

I'm with Brad on this one ... but I can only take 2, since I don't have enough wall space for a 3rd home decoration :scowl:

But they did say it also makes a pleasant gift ...... ;)

The sellers grasp of the English language doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

You know there's been some poor sap somewhere who has bid on it thinking, "This is a great deal!" without checking out the shipping cost...

    I'll buy 50 and open a store!

Some needs to register and bid like $75,000 on it then unregister when it ends.

My cousin got ripped on a deal like this and he called the local police department who said they would dispatch a team of detectives to Russia to catch the thieves and then laughed at him and told him tough sheet.

His/her feedback score gives me all the confidence I need to buy this. Big fat doughnut. I am convinced it is a scam.

  17. That´s the sad part. No matter how obvious a scam is, some poor fool always falls for it (no offense to your cousin BTW, I don´t know the circumstances in his case)

Thus endeth the lesson. Just think of all the money he'll save if the Eiffel Tower comes up for sale.

My cousin bid on something , computer parts/pieces ?, I don't remember, then he sent a money order , bank check, money gram or similar.
His items never showed up and he couldn't contact the seller.

And yes he did learn his lesson.
