Nice bass and a great price! You're going to put a tort guard on there, right? :D

  6. nice man, i never liked the way jazzes played but i've ALWAYS been a gaint sucker for a white jazz. Just slap on a black or tort pickgaurd and your good to go.

She looks just like mine, only yours has a traditional pickguard, and no BA2.

    It's a beaut!

    Sweet looking Jazz! Congrats!

  13. Actually, mine's an '89, but other than that (and perhaps a bit more wear) mine's identical. It's a great bass and even though I haven't always appreciated it I keep coming back to it. One of the best things I did was to break down and get a pair of Antiquity pickups for it - WOW what a difference! That said, I'd suggest leaving the stock pickups (they are stock, right?) in for a while. They're not bad and were fine for me for the first 15 years I owned the bass :) . That's a great price and I'm sure the two of you will make great music together for years to come.
