I've been looking for either a nice used Natrual NS-2J in Swamp Ash or a Re-Bop 4 string but the NS-2J's were alittle more than I wanted to spend & I haven't seen a Nat Re-Bop. Then I notices that Funky Carnivore was selling his NS-4CRFM for $550 SHIPPED so, needless to say, I jumped all over it.

Well I got it, threw a new set of strings on it & rushed off to band practice & well, it felt like home.

Really, I'd really like to meet him. That will be cool.

The color is alot better than I expected. It's a really dark, kinda burnt orange.

Wow, Interesting you grabbed one of those up, considering your own builds & having access to Sad's like you do...

Ya know, that coloring reminds me of something. When I was trying to decide what color to have painted on my warmoth, one that came to mine was the Translucent AMBER. I'm pretty sure it'd come out to about THAT color on a black korina body.

Man, great deal! I love Spector Euro's.
I bought mine for $830 off ebay. I thought I got a decent deal. Turns out I didnt, either the preamp or the voltage doubler were shot. Ordered new preamp and battery clip from Spector for $140. Now its at a guitar tech shop, have no idea how much he is going to charge me for the work. :scowl:
    So once again, GREAT DEAL!

  11. Ugh, if my electronics ever go out, I'm rewiring a passive setup in mine.

And welcome back to the Spector club!

I'm not sure if you remember my Spector threads but before palying Sadowsky's, I was BIG time into Spectors, 4 USA's & about 12 Czech NT's with assorted Korean models.

  13. i was big into spectors for a long time too, i think i had 6 or 7 of them... they are really cool basses but i doubt ill get another... ive moved on to peavey fever... as good as my best spector was (rebop) my peavey millennium usa 4 craps all over it, and every other bass that ive owned
