    Finished. I've found her...

She came by UPS today, from TB'er Mark Clay for a fantastic price.

She's a Pedulla Pentabuzz P/J, with a 2-band switchable active preamp. The gloss neck finish has been removed, and she's got some dings (which is why I could afford her)

I dragged her to rehersal today just after she arrived, and within about 2 minutes I knew she was the one. Did I mention I have never spent any time with a 5-string before? Yeah.... so easy to play! My intonation was fantastic, and I just flew around the 'board. What a bass! Thick, rich, gooey fretless fatness!

Well, if it wasn't a Pedulla, I'd say you're full of it.

    But that is niiiicceeee.

Really? She sounds like a great bass. She reminds me of my cousin. It's 4 years old. It's a nice baby. I have some pictures of it in my wallet. She's a nice wallet, and she holds pictures and bills really well.

Goodness, look what time she is. I better get some sleep.

    Thank you, Alec Baldwin.

Beautiful bass!!!...of course you probably need a bigger, louder, deeper, more hi-fi, etc. amp:D

There are actually a few TB members that are completely satisfied with their gear...

    Thanks, guys!

Yeah... suddenly my rig is deficient

I'm eyeing one of the silly PLX's -- you know, one of the boxes with more power than my Pontiac...

Sweet. I love Pentabuzzs. GAS NEVER ends. It just lies dormant and phesters for a while.
