Yes, I am aware I am naive. I try to keep myself that way, otherwise I may go insane.

I was checking out the best selling albums of all time list today. I am very afraid. Kenny G?! Michael Bolton?! The Bodyguard Soundtrack?! Linkin Park!?

*sigh* There's no accounting for taste.

View my terrible splendor, and tremble! The RIAA Top 100 Best Selling Albums of All Time.

For my money, it doesn't get an better than when he [Micheal Bolton] sings "when a man loves a woman". I celebrate his entire catalog.

That movie just never gets old. I talk to my subordinates like Lumbergh on a regular basis....half joking, half serious.

  5. wow. i own some of the "cool" albums!
    *warm and fuzzy*

  6. The first Zeppelin album is on twice. In the 10.0 section and in the 8.0 section. So it should be an 18.0...

At least we can take comfort that "Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em" is on there.

  9. There was no Rush on that list.

    That's it, the RIAA blows.(more)

Actually that's what's great about it.
RUSH proves that you don't need to bend over for the evil corporate executives to be successful.

Wow, Hootie and the Blowfish sold 16 million of Cracked Rear View. Talk about falling far.

I admit, though, when I was in 5th grade I had their tape and actually got their second album for christmas.

You left out quite a bit. Some more Beatles, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Crosby Stills and Nash, etc.
