I'm getting....missing anything?

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by HappyMikey, Jun 16, 2003.

  1. Allright I signed up for some Bass lessons and I'm about to order the following:
    -Ibanez SW-20 Bass Guitar Amp
    -Essex 5 String Bass BG-205
    -10' Guitar/Bass Cable and Strap

    From rondomusic.com

Am I missing anything? Am I all set? (I know I'm only missing the tuner but I got that figured out).

And that 10' thing...what does that mean? Will the cable fit my bass?

    Thanks again.
  2. And does anyone know if Rondomusic includes cases with the basses or do I have to buy them seperatly?
  3. Gotta buy 'em seperately, sorry.
  4. 10' means 10 foot cable...which is what I use for practice,it'll be fine.

you're pretty much set on everything!

have fun and welcome to TB:cool:

get a metronome, and maybe a music stand. if you are working out of a book with your teacher, and he gives you homework, you'll want a music stand, it's really conveniant .

Welcome to the world of bassin' and talkbass, this is THE mecca for all things bass, any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

I second the metronome, start out right and practice w/ it every day. Rondo also has cheap but good gig bags and cases. Also, ask your teacher to help/show you how to properly set up the action and intonation of your new bass. Welcome!

Why the hell would you need picks?
Learn to play with your fingers!
  10. learn with both picks and fingers
