I've had a religious experience. My new Jack Read Custom P/J has taken me to another plane of existence. This thing kicks my Roscoe's butt and then some. Some many wonderful, useable tones that I can't decide which is my "signature sound."

This bass is all handmade without a single flaw AND way cheaper than my Roscoe. I cannot sing Jack Read's praises enough. If you get a chance to play/own one - do it! (BTW, I don't work for Jack and I'm not a good enough player to even be endorsed by Rogue ;) )

    Pics attached! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Man, if those knobs aren't extra jumbo or something that's a right thin body.

Not noticeably thin, but it is noticeably light and perfectly balanced. Fits me like Jack measured me for the bass.

Wow, congrats! I bought a preamp from Jack last December, and I looked at the basses on his webpage. That looks great! :)
