After nearly trading her away earlier this week (and thankfully coming to my senses), I decided to pull my '94 StingRay5 out of the closet where she has lived for many years, overlooked for a myriad of other (more expensive) basses. Feeling sorry for her and her pretty trans burgundy finish, I did a setup and changed strings and battery, then plugged her in. I just came up for air after playing her for almost two hours (and my shoulder hurts - almost 10 lbs.). How could I have ever thought about giving up that kind of tone!!!!! OK, OK. I'm sorry. Moderators take me away.
