    Fretless BB3000 with Music Manesque active EQ. Neck thru, NO fretlines, wine red color. It booms and it mwahs too! The other lesser BB Yammies simply pale in comparison.

    TBQ (the bass in question) is used and has a bad jack (it crackles when moved). It looks like an easy fix. Store wants $550. I can probably talk them down. What you guys think?

    Jack replacement is a "see Spot run" operation if you are any good with the old soldering iron. if not just have the shop replace it before you buy. Then haggle the price down.
    remember "If a bass is good for you ? Then No one has a right to bitch about it Except you"

    At least that's what my old bass teacher said to me when I was a Student way back when :bassist:

    Talk em down as much as you can. Buy it. Fix the jack.

    Pssh, talk them down by a lot, especially if its damaged.
