Im new and I have a question...

    :) Hey. Im new and I am looking at amps but I was wondering if I were to get a guitar amp would it blow when I'd try to play it?:( Thanks

    You could use a guitar head, but bass will blow out guitar speakers.
    The other problem with using a guitar amp, is where the EQ's are at. I don't think you could get a good sound from your low end through a guitar amp, because of the frequencies that a guitar amp are set to handle (higher than those of bass of course)
    There are plenty of good amps out there that aren't too expensive-especially in the used market.

    You should try the search feature. This question has been asked and answered here many times.

    The quick answer is at very low volumes, most likely no problem. Above that, it won't sound too good and may damage the amp.
