I'm not usually one for gold hardware, but this is so nice...

I prefer gold hardware on dark natural wood basses.
All three of my basses have gold.
But gold on white finished basses is also classy. canvas.png

  2. One of the GC's near me has two of these...one has been there for years, the 2nd is brand new.
It sure does look real nice and plays nicely. But my opinion is that I could only find 2 good tones out of it and that neck pickup is in the way of my thumpin'...

For whatever reason, I ONLY like gold hardware on white basses. No idea why.

  5. Could it be that the contrast is so compelling? Gold certainly does have it's charms!

My local GC also had one for a while and it is so much more attractive in person. The GC picture just doesn't do it any justice whatsoever. And it was a very nice player also.
