So i got called friday afternoon from my ex-music school telling me that my former bass teacher was really busy with his musical projects and he only wanted to teach the advanced students.

then they tell me that they needed someone to teach "bass newbies" some of the basics for some months and that I was their first choice on this :)

I spent all night yesterday reading some theory books (both in spanish and english) and cut to the chase: I just came back from my first 2 hours of sharing all that i know about beginning bass (and that i have learned here too)

I thought i would be nervous or something but words flowed kinda naturally and i felt I did connect with the students

after the class the head of school gave me yet another group for me to teach (that will be 4 hours, twice a week)

so unless something else happens im looking at a great (relatively easy) job doing what i like!

this is my first job so i just wanted to share my happiness :)

    Congratulations!!!

If I knew Spanish, I'd say something cool, but I don't. So this is your first job, eh? First job teaching or first job ever? I think it's awesome that your doing something you love, and helping others to learn something you love!

    ~Cheers~
