I'm really trying to look for a good 60w-120w combo?

I like the Ampeg b100r a lot, but do you guys know any other amps that could appeal to me? I play mid tempo rock, and 80's new wave type stuff.

    I like the B100 a lot. It's a nice sounding amp.

But you might also look at the Yorkville Sound XM 200C, It has more power, is about the same weight and will handle an extension cabinet, which the Ampeg will not do.

Very reliable, great warranty and made in Canada. You can get it in a 1X15 or 2X10 model. I've used one on gigs and found it could handle a lot of volume without breaking up. Extremely good for the money. About $500 in Canada, less in the USA.

I just picked up a used b100R for $165 bucks, and it's definately a great little amp. Nice thick thump, really decent highs for now horn/tweeter, and with an upright, or a P bass with flats, it gets all kinds of Motown...there's 2 or 3 on ebay right now...one just sold here a week or so ago. It's a pretty big 100 watts too...

the xm200 (200w x 15") is about $520 (slightly cheaper than the b100) or checkout the xm100 (100w less w/no extention speaker output) but only $375.

yorkville may not have that cool retro look, but it WILL make up for it in V-O-L-U-M-E !!! ask ANY yorkville owner.
