Ummmmm..."bling" is "flash" (money, jewelry, etc.). I don't know what "fizzy fo' shizzy" means -- maybe it means "for sure," as in, "Ain't that fizzy fo' shizzy!" And you'd say, "You bet it is, brotha!"

I think today's lingo and the people that use it are just plain silly. I think the jive talk of yesteryear past was sure the shiznit though!

Thanks, I feel almost cool again....or something.
I'm a middle aged white man trapped in a hip hop generation. Oh the horror. Oh the humanity.

The origins of what you guys claim "fizzy fo shizzy" is actually "fo shizzle my nizzle" and its from some rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg or Jayz. It's the latest trend in verbal communication among teenage African-American and white middle-class and trailpark boys.

    Go figure.
  6. You should be very, very proud that you don't know what those expressions mean.

Dropping a -zz- in the middle of a word is the source of most hiphop neologisms these days, bizziatches.

  17. Can you feel it, see it, hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
You will never understand it cuz it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass
It's so cool, it's so hip, it's alright
It's so groovy, it's outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference cuz it knocks you off your feet

  19. I wonder if the hip-hop community sits around thinking up the weirdest slang and verbal dismantlings they can, in the hope that drunk college boys and preppies will start using them and not realize how stupid they sound.

Hey, seems like a good idea to me.

P.S. It's cooler to spell "hip"- "hep". Just Imagine, "Ahh! My brittle old man hep just gave out! doctor! Doctor!"
You'll be the coolest cat in the Sunny Side retirement community :D ;)
