I'm a college student at Cal State Fullerton and I signed up for the following music classes:

    Music 112 Diatonic Harmony
Music 122 Musicianship III Diatonic Harmony

Basically these classes go hand-in-hand and I figured taking them might help further my knowledge of theory.

Can anyone tell me what I can come to expect learning in these classes? That "III" in the 2nd class makes me feel like such a n00b. BTW I'm not a music major, I'm just taking these classes as my electives. Might as well learn something, right? :smug:

I tried for Music Theory 101 but the class wasn't open this semester, or existing for that matter!

Cool. I made some poor and ill-judged decisions in my college years (heh!), but my decision to take music theory courses definitely was not among them. ;)
