  1. I've been playing my MPG Level 5JJ through a Countryman DI and using stage monitors with much success. However, with a newer gig I've been doing small acoustic shows and need something I can set-up on stage/rehearsals in minutes and be ready to play (as we usually play music festivals and have limited set up time). I would also like this new portable rig to have enough punch, headroom, tone, etc to handle medium size clubs w/ 5 peice Top40 country band. I'm considering several options and can't decide....please post your suggestions. I'm not considering anything else. I've been saving for a while so I'm willing to

depends on what 'sound' you want. I can only really speak for the bass 350/aggie 112 sound compared possibly with the wt-400. aggie vs. cxl112 = fat-round vs. hifi-more midrangy? I had a cxl112 and didn't like the tone, gs112 is more scooped mids, but nice round fat, not boomy, bottom. eden vs. swr, eden has active electronics for greater tonal control (parametric!) lighter than 350, a little more juice! I'm assuming the eden would have more bottom than 350, I had a 350, dry midrange for my taste. avatar might have more midrange and less bottom then aggie. not sure about wizzy compared to my cxl112 tone ask tombolus? sp? or mike dimin.

my choice if I had to make your choice would be the wt400/aggie gs112 for a fat bottom and smooth, I think, midrange. aggie tweeter is fairly smooth, smoother than swr tweeters.
