Behringer's BX300T is $190...there's been a raging debate around here about the reason it's so cheap, though. Ashdown clone + exploited labor = bad karma....

    Ashdown's EB180H is $219.

    zzounds breaks it down

Zzound's $189.95 price on the BX3000T is for a "B Stock" item, otherwords a new unit, but with some sort of cosmetic flaw. They were selling for just under $200, but Behringer evidently increased the price a few months ago. Right now it seems the street price now seems to be $229.99 (although there was a guy on ebay blowing out 4 of them (reportedly new) for $160.00 each.

Good to know Frank. Does Zzounds disclose that, or do we have some inside info here...?

Once you click on the little picture of the head, you'll get to the description page (try this link below):

    http://www.zzounds.com/item--BEHBX3000T

There it specifically notes that the $189.95 price is for the B-Stock. What you don't know is how many they have (there may only be one of these available), and exactly what the blemish is (could be a scratch or a small dent in the unit... or it could even just be some damage to the box itself).

there is a not so fine line between thrifty and being cheap enough to buy a head that sounds like crap and puts out nowhere near its stated power rating.
