I have a tribby L2k, and its a great bass. Good action, Great tone, well constructed. Well worth the money they cost.

is this an excuse to post a picture of mine?

Tell you about my G&L? Ok. I bought it off egay, and it is currently having the neck refinnished. I am getting so antsy. I need to get my hands on it now! Oh, and it's an L-5500. The neck felt nice and i think it looks good, but the tummy contour seems really uncomfortable, as in it digs into my ribs.

That's a nice natural finish. At first I thought natural was only good on dark woods, like Warwicks, or light woods with pickguards, but G&L seems to do it well enough...Lakland too. I like that nice wood grain...nothing like swamp ash.

    Congratulations.

I play a USA L-2000 and these are the best playing and sounding (most musical imo) basses I have ever played (I played numerous Warwicks, Stingrays and Ibanezes).
