i have a stereo mosfet poweramp wich work in 2 and 4 ohms
i'ld like to know if i can put a 8 ohms and an 4 ohms cabs... that do 2.67 ohms... will taht work ?
did my amp work between 2 and 4 ohms, or i have to match exactly 2 and 4 ohms ?

i have no impedence problem, my thing always works.
  3. If your amp is rated to handle 2 or 4 ohms, it should be fine with the 4 and 8 ohm cabinet in parallel, or 2.67 ohms. If you do run them in parallel, the 4 ohm cabinet will probably be louder than the 8 ohm.

BTW - there have been lots of questions here lately about ohms & impedance.... does anyone know of a good source of info (or link) that explains the concept in laymans terms?

The FAQ on amps that Joris wrote, would probably answer some of the questions... scroll up, there is a little yellow FAQ link...
