I've recently discovered that it inverts the polarity of the signal, so if you want to use it in parallel or split crossover path you should put it in Path B with polarity switch set on Invert in mixer block. In that way you restore lost freq due to phase cancelation. Original Darkglass pedal does not invert polarity. Finally I managed to make some very good X Ultra like sounds.
If you have effects in both A and B paths, Obsidian will make phase problems in regard of B path signal. So you can put path B polarity on Invert to solve the issue. If you don't have parallel paths than there should not be any phase issues but sound can differ in a way that in some applications and relations it could be better choice (or not).
Just confirmed with Sound Design that this is indeed a bug. Will be fixed in 2.90. Thanks for the heads up!
