Importing a CD/postage/taxe fees..

    Hi again. I plan to buy a CD from the USA tomorow online, and have looked into the shipping fees and FAQ on the matter.

    I found that the pp is $4.75 (airmail), bringing the total to $16.75.

    My question is, is there any additional entry fee/tax I must pay when it gets to the UK, or any currency transfer fee to pay on the card?

    These are the details form the site when I clicked 'buy':

    Total Goods Net $12.00
    Total Shipping Cost $4.75
    Total Sales Tax $0.00
    Grand Total $16.75

    get them to mark it as a gift so you don't have to pay tax. though since it's not that big an amount you may not have to.

    Thanks a lot. I did actually notice a text feild on the 'chose shipping method' section where you could type in any additional shiiping requests, maybe I could request it as a gift via that.
