Impossible to boil down David Bowie and his VAST output to just one song. But if I were to do so...

...I think everybody who is a Bowie fan would agree on THIS one being his very best.

I still get emotional hearing "Life on Mars" it's such a brilliant song.

And for good measure, let's have the "Naked" version too.

Yep. Impossible. But I want to play.
1 super glam pop song. Add the best rock'n'roll guitar player in the history of rock'n'roll (not negotiable) playing the best solo of his career. This is my favorite. I love a lot of his material, even Tin Machine. But this is the one I'd replay a few times before the next track.

  4. Corny perhaps but this is it for me. The drums, in the first verse particularly and guitar, brilliant stuff.

  7. From the ‘79 ‘Lodger’ album. Overlooked by many, - but he chose it as the single, and did a great video for it.
I think it encompasses a lot of his various styles, all in one song.
“Boys Keep Swinging” Tony Visconti - Bass
Adrian Belew - amazing guitar solo

Not his song, I know, I know. But his music spoke (still speaks) to a lot of people. So here you go:

Suffragette City has always been my goto. So many great ones but that track always gets my amped up. Fun bassline to jam to as well!

  16. I'd have to agree. Still one of the best albums ever made - every track a winner - and this probably the best on it.
