I've seen people talk a lot about replacing pickups, but I read a long time ago, in BP, I think, that old pickups can be remagnetized. I was wondering if anyone's aware of anything a repair person can do, aside from raising or lowering pickups, to make stock pickups better sounding.

Just for the sake of conversation.

  2. Try some Lane Poor replacements, If you can find them. I heard Seymoure Duncan has a wide range of windings available.
