  1. Yes this is a parody thread, a serious parody, but a parody thread. If a pro-gun thread is allowed, so should an anti gun thread about the same topic (but that usually isn't the case).

    Is it really necessary?

We need to follow John Turners rules in the other thread:

Rakie Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to...

Guns dont kill people, a**holes kill people.

  3. It would have been harder to kill ol Abe with a dry lasagna noodle though. :)

yeah but I like having rights.

Car's can be more deadly then handguns easy, criminals just aren't that original.

Also, more people get stabbed then shot, I think.

    Honestly?
There are seriously still people that actually think like this?

    :rollno::rollno::rollno:

  6. Are you serious? Like Rakie said guns don't kill people, bad people kill people.

Why don't ya have a thread about all the people that were killed by cars? Or knives? Or fists? Or people that died from touching their lips to a microphone while holding the strings on their guitar because their guitar and or amp weren't grounded correctly?

    Gimme a break.

  7. Amazing :rollno: You really outdid yourself with this one FH.

Yep. Give him a break. Give me a break while you're at it. I had the same thoughts Ray, and you posted them first. I'm no gun nut. If I didn't have one for work, I wouldn't own one. However, I think the Constitution is a valuable thing. It's too bad some people consider themselves smarter than our founding fathers. I just absolutely hate the liberal "we know what's best for you" philosophy.

  9. this thread is LAME.

Yeah, because people that get hit by a car only get hit by a car driven by a bad person.

Great point, you should be in politics :hyper:

  11. Worst counter ever.

  12. What I hate is when anyone, liberal or conservative, blue or green, makes a whole lot of noise about fairness, equality and "caring" but won't actually listen to what the other person is saying because they're more concerned about proving that someone else is wrong (or their own interests) rather than actually solving a problem.

Sorry for the long sentence, and for the record that does not necessarily apply to you fenderhutz... I mean that in a general sense.

Not in this day and age. Nobody settles their differences at less than 50 ft nowadays.

Not if you think of the numerous cases of (fatal) gun accidents. I'm not saying the whole 'people kill people' isn't true.. But the guns make it a whole lot easier.

But hey, I'm safe, I'm in Europe :bassist:

  15. That's not the point, the point is that guns don't just aim themselves at people and pull the trigger on their own, it's a person. Sometimes it's a bad person who intends to kill someone with that gun. Sometimes it's a stupid person who doesn't know how to use a gun (Or a stupid person who doesn't store their guns safely in a house with kids) and it's an accident.

The problem is not the guns, it's the people. That's what people should be concerned about dealing with.

When you hear about a car accident, or a hit and run/manslaughter case, do you ever hear someone say "Damn those cars! Why do we keep those around?" No, because that's not the problem. It's the idiot driving.

  16. That's what people in Europe said right before Hitler gained power. Just keep your pitchfork by the door :) And who was it again that came to the rescue??

    A well-regulated militia.:smug:

  18. But everyone was SO QUICK to post their firearms upon request.

Don't come here trolling this thread just because I don't think in order to have your home protected you need automatic weapons.

Following John Turners rules about getting political or trolling, this is a valid thread.

  19. He also said this:

"trolly posts for grins and giggles will get you banned"
