I've been playing through a GK 700RB since about NOV, and totally digging it. It's loud and growly and punchy.
Last rehearsal I took my old SWR Electric Blue, dialed in a jazzy sort of EQ, and was off. I ran it through 2 Avatar 1x12s-- should be about 180watts@4ohms, and was really surprised. The tone was absolutely great. Our lead player actually complimented me on my tone. He said, "Man, that is one great little amp. Are you sure it's on 180 watts?"
    Cool, eh?
I'm not retiring my GK-- because it kicks major ass, but will really consider the SWR in the future. It's usually reserved for URB gigs-- now I'm not so sure.
