Smell would definitely be the one to go. And I feel that's generally what people will choose.

An even more interesting question would be "4 of your senses have to go, which one do you keep?

I'd have to go for sight myself.

Never would I get rid of smell. Smell is the strongest sense tied to memory.

taste would be one of my last to go! I'd rather be blind and enjoying food... and damn if I had to go the rest of my life without tasting Milo's sweet tea, I'd kill myself.

there's another one on what body part to lose, no senses.
It's good thing as a disabled, no feeling in my hands bass player who still laughs at his disabilities or they be somw flagging going on...

I guess that I'm exempt, like the guys in the other thread . . . I lost my sense of smell due to excessive abuse of cocaine from the 70's thru the 90's!

Don't try that at home, kids.

FWIW, I've been clean now for 9 years . . . some of the stronger smells get through to me, but just barely . . . and the once-deviated septum has grown back together . . . it's a miracle!
