Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by DeepDeath, Sep 24, 2002.

  1. does the ampeg b100r have independent input channels like the swr workingman 15, i need to know because my school is getting one and theres 2 bass players and we both want to plug in without clipping the pre amp.

You can use both inputs at once... I just tried it with mine to make sure. They're not independent, it's one channel with two inputs.

One input is cut (-15dB), the other isn't (OdB) so if you both have passive basses one of you would have to plug into the -15dB input and the other would probably need to turn down his bass guitar's volume to match your volume. Ideally one of you would have a passive bass and plug into the 0dB input and the other would have an active bass and plug into the -15dB.

    Make sense?
